Including loads of fresh fruit and vegetables that are high in vitamins and antioxidants is a wiser step to improve women's health. Folate are also crucial for the health of the heart. Replacing unhealthy fats with polyunsaturated fatty acids found in leafy plants, canola, oily fish, and linseed oil can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Choose Healthy Snacks
Healthy snacks should always be the part of women's handbag, that are from different food groups. Some choices would be, an apple or some other fruit or celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins and graham crackers.

Avoid Being Overweight Being heavier than what is actually required is only going to increase the magnitude of risk of several diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. If you already have a healthy weight, its better to maintain it, but if you are overweight, start loosing it from today, as each excess pound that you lose will allow you to stay fit throughout your life.
